Sustainability

Sharing means empowering visitors and contributing to climate neutrality by 2030.

→ Integrate Seville into the UNWTO Tourism Sustainability Observatory.

→ Extend the Sevilla Respira Plan to other neighbourhoods in the city.

→ Transform 264 public buildings into smart buildings and nZEBs

→ Boosting the Urban Laboratory for Sustainable Tourism.

Seville among the 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities.

Accessibility

Sharing means «stepping into the shoes of visitors» to make the city inclusive, diverse and equitable.

→ Pioneering flow management through Artificial Intelligence and Information and Communication Technologies.

→ Promoting the local accessibility office.

→ Promoting Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality to make cultural heritage accessible.

→ Maintaining the first position in the country in the length of bike lanes, rental points and accessibility of public transport.

First Spanish city to publish an Accessible Tourism Guide (2005).

Digitisation

Sharing means relying on technology to mutually benefit (visitors and residents) from the tourism experience.

Cultural Heritage and Creativity

Sharing means enhancing the capacity of tourism as an activator of cultural heritage and the creative industry.

→ Magallanes ICC_ Centre for cultural innovation and the promotion of creative capacities.

→ Reales Atarazanas, new cultural container.

→ Promotion of the 5G in heritage sites with a high tourist influx.

→ Broadening the attractiveness for tourists beyond the old town.
