New connections between Spain and France

In June, Seville has added a new direct air route to Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the picturesque Dordogne Valley, New Aquitaine region, France. This service, operated by Ryanair, offers twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, improving access to this city, located 20 kms from Bordeaux.

This new air link reflects Seville’s smart strategy to strengthen its network of international connections. With eight direct routes to various French cities, Seville consolidates its position as an interconnected and accessible destination. France, being the second largest outbound market for the city, is particularly benefited by this expansion, which facilitates the flow of tourism and strengthens the economic and cultural ties between the two regions. This new connection not only expands travel options for residents of both locations, but also promotes tourism exchange, offering travellers the opportunity to explore and enjoy the cultural and natural riches that both regions have to offer. This is proof of Seville’s effective and visionary management as a tourist destination.

The official presentation of this new air connection took place at Abba Hotels, in a special event aimed at the media and professionals from the tourism sector and attended by Angie Moreno, delegate for Tourism in Seville, the director of Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne airport and representatives from the Brive-la-Gaillarde, Sarlat and Vallée de la Dordogne Tourist Offices.
